KULTUR FESTIVAL is a celebration of Jewish music, comedy, theater, film, dance, and fine arts. The concept was developed in 2009, by artistic director Aaron Kula, who created the only festival of its kind in South Florida. Originally hosted by Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, Kultur Festival is now expanding its reach to a global community and is in residence at the Jewish Community Center in Boca Raton, Florida. Events showcase the richness of Jewish heritage with presentations by renowned guest artists, distinguished scholars, and musicians. The main event of past festivals featured the Klezmer Company Jazz Orchestra, Fiddler On The Roof in Concert, and a Celebration of Leonard Bernstein's life and music. The KULTUR FESTIVAL is mobile and programs vary depending on interests of hosting organization, venues, budgets, and length of festival.
